I'm a design-focused software engineer with 5 years of engineering experience and another 5 in UX/UI design. As a designer-turned-engineer, I specialize in frontend development while continuously growing my full-stack skills. My unique background helps me blend beautiful aesthetics with clean, functional code. I especially enjoy the intersection of design and engineering: architecting component libraries, crafting polished interactions, and making sure the visual and technical details come together cleanly.

In consulting I've learned to hit the ground running: jumping into projects with minimal hand-holding, figuring out what I need to know, and reaching out for help when it matters. Juggling multiple clients and tech stacks has sharpened my ability to think abstractly, making it easier to pick up new tools and languages as projects demand.

Outside of product work I love creative coding like interactive experiments, CSS animations, and anything that lets me play at the edges of what browsers can do. I also have a soft spot for brutalist and Swiss-inspired web design.

Summary: A software consultancy where I build and ship production-ready, full-stack web applications for a rotating roster of clients across a wide range of industries. I work primarily on the frontend with Next.js and TypeScript, from RESTful APIs and database integrations to backend services. Working across different clients means adapting to new codebases and requirements quickly, taking ownership from the start, and knowing when to loop in senior engineers when it counts.
